MarketRank uses closed-loop virtual items.

  • Credits and virtual shares work only inside MarketRank.
  • They are not cash, company equity, securities, deposits, or cryptocurrency.
  • They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed for money.
  • Share prices can fall, and you can receive fewer credits than you spent.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and MarketRank (“MarketRank,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of marketrank.lol, MarketRank accounts, credits, virtual product shares, product listings, and related features (the “Service”).

By accessing the Service, creating an account, submitting a product, purchasing credits, or placing a trade, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may not use the Service if applicable law bars you from doing so. You are responsible for following the laws and tax rules that apply to you.

MarketRank is not offered in any place where its operation or your use would be unlawful. We may restrict access by person or location when needed for legal, payment-provider, security, or risk reasons.

3. Accounts and security

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law states otherwise.

You may not sell, transfer, share, or lend an account. You may not create accounts to avoid restrictions, manipulate markets, claim duplicate benefits, or interfere with another person’s use of the Service.

4. The MarketRank service

MarketRank is a public product leaderboard supported by closed-loop virtual markets. Published products receive a virtual market. Buying virtual shares raises a product’s share price. Selling virtual shares lowers it. The public leaderboard orders products by their current share price from highest to lowest.

MarketRank is not a stock exchange, securities broker, investment adviser, bank, money transmitter, or cryptocurrency service. A product’s rank, price, volume, backing, clicks, or other metrics do not state its business value, quality, safety, or likely success. A listing or rank is not an endorsement.

5. Credits

Credits are closed-loop virtual items issued by MarketRank. When a purchase option is offered, the purchase screen shows the current credit conversion rate before payment. Credits provide a limited, personal, revocable, and non-transferable right to use eligible Service features.

  • Credits have no cash value outside the Service.
  • Credits cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user, or exchanged for cash, cryptocurrency, company ownership, or another asset.
  • Credit balances do not earn interest and are not bank deposits or insured funds.
  • Sandbox, test, promotional, refunded, or incorrectly issued credits may be removed, limited, or treated differently from purchased credits.

Our ledger is the official record of credit activity. We may correct processing errors, duplicate entries, fraudulent credits, or balances that do not match the ledger. We will not knowingly change a valid completed transaction only to alter its economic result.

6. Purchases, fees, and refunds

Credit purchases are processed by our payment provider. You authorize the displayed charge, applicable taxes, and any clearly disclosed payment terms. Purchased credits are added only after we receive trusted payment confirmation. A browser success page by itself does not create credits.

Credit purchases are final once delivered, except when applicable law requires a refund or when we confirm a duplicate, unauthorized, or undelivered charge. If a refund is approved, we may remove the related unused credits. Contact [email protected] promptly if a charge or delivery is wrong.

Each trade can include a fee. The quote and confirmation screen show the fee before execution. We may change purchase rates or fees for future transactions. A change does not rewrite a completed purchase or trade.

If a payment is reversed, disputed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent, we may freeze the related credits, reverse unused credits or benefits tied to that payment, and suspend the account while we investigate.

7. Virtual share trading

Trading is spot only. You may buy virtual shares with available credits and sell virtual shares that you own. Virtual shares are tied to one product and cannot be transferred to another user or moved outside MarketRank. We do not offer short selling, leverage, margin, borrowing, options, futures, or an order book.

A trade quote is an estimate based on the market state when the quote is created. At execution, the server recalculates the trade against the newest locked market state. Another trade may change the price before yours executes. You authorize execution using that newer state, and a price change alone does not cancel your trade. The final execution record controls.

We may reject a trade if you lack enough credits or shares, a market is paused, the request is invalid, available reserves cannot support it, a minimum price rule applies, or a security or legal control blocks it. Completed trades are final except for confirmed processing errors or rights that cannot legally be waived.

8. Prices, rankings, and data

Each product uses an automated market formula. The current share price is the product market’s credit reserve divided by its configured liquidity. A buy adds net credits to the reserve and raises the price. A sell removes credits from the reserve and lowers the price. The leaderboard sorts by current share price.

Market parameters can differ if the Service clearly discloses them. Price charts, percentage changes, volume, positions, click counts, visitor counts, portfolio values, and rankings are informational displays. They may be rounded, delayed, corrected, or temporarily unavailable. Market backing is not a company’s market capitalization or valuation.

9. Trading risks

Virtual share prices can rise or fall quickly. A position can lose some or all of its value in credits. A product can lose attention, be removed, or have its market paused. Technical failures, low activity, fraud, coordinated activity, or other users’ trades can affect prices and your ability to trade.

No return, price, rank, liquidity level, trading opportunity, or continued operation is guaranteed. Past prices do not predict future prices. Information on the Service is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for each trade you place.

10. Product listings

When you submit a URL, you authorize MarketRank to retrieve public website metadata and create a listing. You confirm that you have the right to submit the product and that the listing does not violate law or another person’s rights. Automated names, descriptions, favicons, and other metadata may be incomplete or wrong.

You grant MarketRank a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and format the submitted URL, product name, description, logo, marks, screenshots, and other listing material for operating and promoting the Service. This license ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed for the Service, legal records, fraud prevention, or backups.

Listings can go live without prior review, but we may review, edit, pause, reject, or remove them later. We do not verify product ownership, claims, security, or quality. Founders, employees, affiliates, and other interested users may trade a listed product’s virtual shares, so market activity is not necessarily independent.

11. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Submit a product you are not authorized to submit, impersonate another person, or make false product claims.
  • Coordinate or create artificial trades, clicks, accounts, traffic, volume, prices, or rankings.
  • Exploit a bug, bypass a rate limit or platform control, automate access without permission, scrape protected data, or disrupt the Service.
  • Access another user’s account or confidential data without authorization.
  • Use fraudulent payments, abuse refunds or chargebacks, launder value, or attempt to transfer credits or shares outside the Service.
  • Reverse engineer protected parts of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

12. Platform controls

To protect users and the Service, we may pause credit purchases, product submissions, all trading, or buying or selling for one or more products. We may also limit requests, correct errors, reverse duplicate or fraudulent operations, adjust balances through an auditable ledger entry, remove content, and preserve records.

We may act without advance notice when there is a security incident, legal requirement, payment risk, market-integrity concern, technical failure, or urgent threat. When practical, we will explain material account actions and provide a way to contact support.

13. Intellectual property

MarketRank and its software, design, text, branding, and original content are owned by MarketRank or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you only a limited right to use the Service. They do not transfer our intellectual property to you.

You keep ownership of material that you submit. The listing license in Section 10 lets us use that material only as described there. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment.

14. Third-party services and sites

The Service uses third-party providers for functions such as payments, authentication, hosting, storage, and database services. Their own terms and privacy practices can apply. We are not responsible for a third party’s service outside our reasonable control.

Product names, logos, descriptions, and external websites belong to their respective owners. External links can lead to content, products, privacy practices, or security risks that MarketRank does not control. Visit and use third-party sites at your own risk.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account closure. Closing an account does not turn credits or virtual shares into cash. Unless applicable law requires another result, remaining credits and virtual shares are canceled when closure is complete.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay, misuse the Service, or if continued operation is not reasonably possible. Sections that must remain effective by their nature will survive termination, including ownership, risk, liability, dispute, and payment provisions.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” MarketRank disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty created by course of dealing or usage.

We do not promise that the Service will always be available, secure, accurate, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components or errors. We do not promise that a listed product, external site, user, trade, price, metric, or market result is reliable. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limits on liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, MarketRank and its owners, staff, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or virtual value.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for all claims connected with the Service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid directly to MarketRank during the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

18. Indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MarketRank and its owners, staff, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, and reasonable costs caused by your submitted material, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to loss caused by MarketRank’s own unlawful conduct.

19. Disputes and governing law

Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. This does not remove any right to seek urgent relief or use a process that applicable law protects.

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the MarketRank operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A dispute may be brought in a court that has lawful jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections and small-claims rights remain available where they apply.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service, law, or risk controls change. We will change the date at the top and provide additional notice when a change is material. Updated Terms apply from their stated effective date. They do not retroactively change a completed trade except to correct an error, address fraud, or comply with law.

If you continue to use the Service after updated Terms take effect, you accept them. If you do not accept an update, stop using the Service and request account closure.

21. Contact

Questions, billing issues, account notices, and legal notices can be sent to [email protected].
